- The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage was established under CHA to conduct scientific research on cultural heritage. The Institute in particular has an excellent reputation in research on the documentation ofICH and its methodology. The Institute will conduct cooperative projects with the Centre for the documentation and establishment of an information system in relation to the collection, processing, and distribution of ICH data.
- The Korean National University of Cultural Heritage is a special institution for higher education established under CHA to train heritage specialists in scientific and professional management of ICH. In particular, the Training Centre for Traditional Culture, established under the University, has organized capacity building programmes for various personnel involved in the safeguarding and management of ICH and will assist the Centre in networking and capacity building activities.
- The Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation was established under the jurisdiction of the CHA and has played a leading role in the popularization, utilization, and dissemination of cultural heritage by organizing public events and creating cultural content. The CHF will cooperate with the Centre to hold public events and develop cultural contents to enhance the viability and understanding of ICH.
- The Korea Culture & Content Agency was established under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a specialized government subsidiary. The Agency has played a role in policy making, and supporting the development of human resources and utilizing the use of ICH in the field of culture. The Agency will provide technical consultation and cooperate on the Centre's projects for developing cultural materials and its utilization.
